In a decisive match played on Saturday afternoon (13) at Estádio das Laranjeiras, Flamengo's U-13 team pressed hard in the final part of the second half in search of the winning goal, but ended up drawing 2x2 (David and Felipe) in regular time with Fluminense, who ended up winning on penalties 4x1 and was champion of the Guanabara Cup in the category. The Most Beloved goes on school break now, and returns in August to compete in the Rio Cup.

As with every decisive match, the derby began with a lot of back-and-forth action, with no clear-cut chances. With the first shot, in the 15th minute, Fluminense opened the scoring, through Gustavo. And that was all that happened before halftime.

The second half started differently. Just four minutes in, Edmilson made a great individual play and passed to Bil. The cross was precise and deliberate, reaching David, who, perfectly positioned, simply had to tap it into the back of the net and level the score. However, in the 12th minute, Fluminense regained the lead with a beautiful free kick from Carlos Eduardo.

The Ninho Boys went in search of an equalizer. In the 20th minute, Pedro controlled the ball at the edge of the box and unleashed a powerful shot that exploded against the crossbar. Baiano's rebound was blocked by the defense. In the 27th minute, Bil delivered a beautiful pass to Felipe, who was brought down by the goalkeeper at the edge of the box. Bil fired the shot into the wall.

Flamengo grew into the game, began applying intense pressure, and equalized in the 33rd minute. David made a great play down the left wing, outplayed his defender, and crossed.
