In 2015, those born in 2001 were reserves for the "Generation 2000." This year, they are the starters in the under-15 category and traveled this Wednesday (January 13.01) to São Paulo, where they will compete in the 21st Brazilian Children's Football Cup. Coach Ramon Lima will be in charge of the team, ending his stint with the group and handing over the reins to Dudu Patetuci, the 2015 champion, who will also be with the squad in the competition. The debut will be this Thursday (January 14.01), against Corinthians at 20 p.m. at the Municipal Stadium. The match will be broadcast on Globoesporte.com starting at 19:45 p.m.

The committee is composed of: Kadu Borges (technical coordinator), Gabriel Barreiro (supervisor) Ramon Lima (coach), Dudu Patetuci (assistant coach), Leonan Kasali (physical trainer), Thiago Eler (goalkeeper trainer), Igor Filipe (performance analyst), André Bezerra (physiotherapist), Gérson Neto (medical intern) and Fernando Souza (wardrobe attendant).

The Copa Brasil tournament is considered a transition period for the group, and after the tournament ends, the team goes on vacation. The boys will return on February 29th to prepare for the 2016 season, now coached by Dudu Patetuci.

In 2016, the category's calendar includes participation in the following competitions: State Championship, Friendship Cup, 2nd of July Cup, Laranjal Paulista and BH CUP.
