In a match held on Friday morning (09.12) in Belo Horizonte, Flamengo's U-15 team defeated Corinthians 1-0 and qualified for the semi-final of the BH Cup, one of the main competitions in the category at a national level.

The winning goal, which secured Flamengo's qualification, was scored by midfielder Yuri from the penalty spot in the seventh minute of the second half. Flamengo returns to action this Saturday morning, December 7th, at 10.12:8 a.m., when they face Cruzeiro in the semifinals of the competition.

"We managed to impose our game from the first minute of the match. This gave us possession and allowed us to create several scoring chances. At the end of the game, we were rewarded with a well-deserved victory that is very important, as it puts us among the top four in the competition. Despite the wear and tear of daily matches throughout the tournament and the high level of our opponents, we hope to maintain this good performance in tomorrow's semifinal against Cruzeiro," said coach Ramon Lima.
