U-15 and U-17 decide place in the State final this Sunday
Double round played in Gávea will start at 10 am
By Nathan Mello - inThe red-and-black youth academy is on its way to dominance in the Campeonato Carioca. The Mais Querido U-20 team led the way at the beginning of the season by winning the competition against Vasco. Having qualified for the final triangular, the U-16 team begins its quest for the Guilherme Embry Tournament (state championship) title in November. And this Sunday (21), the U-15 and U-17 teams will decide who will be in the grand final of the State Championship.
The U-15
The U-15 team, the "Garotos do Ninho," beat Botafogo 2-1 away from home in the first leg, and could even lose by a single goal this Sunday to secure a spot in the grand final. Kick-off at Gávea Stadium at 10 a.m.

The U-17
The U-17 team's situation is reversed. With a 2-1 loss to Fluminense in the first leg at Laranjeiras, coach Phelipe Leal's men need to win the second leg by any score to reach the final. The Fla-Flu match will kick off at 15 p.m., also at Gávea.

Tickets
Tickets for these matches will not be sold, and admission to Gávea Stadium will be free. The Red-Black Nation is welcome to support the Ninho Boys in their quest for victory.
