The under-15 and under-17 teams faced Bangu in the Rio Cup and secured victory for the Mais Querido at home, at the Gávea social headquarters. The under-15s qualified for the State semifinals by beating Bangu 5-0, while the under-17s came close to qualifying for the semifinals with a score of 5-1.

Yuri opened the scoring for the Rubro-Negro U-15s in the first half, followed by Lincoln, the championship's top scorer with 27 goals. In the second half, Joarley added the third, and Vitor Gabriel finished, bulging the net twice.
