U-15 and U-17 win in Madureira and continue with 100% success in the Campeonato Carioca

By Ian Sena - inThe U-15 and U-17 Ninho Boys took to the field this Saturday afternoon (28) to visit Madureira, in matches valid for the third round of the Guanabara Cup for these categories. With very solid and consistent performances even playing in the difficult stadium on Rua Conselheiro Galvão, Mengão dominated both games, winning 1-0 (Euder) and 2-1 (Lorran and Bill) respectively, and maintained a 100% record in both categories after three rounds, reaching nine points in the standings. Next Saturday (04.09), Rubro Negro will host Volta Redonda, in a double round at Gávea. Both games will be broadcast live on FlaTV.
U-17 plays very offensively and wins the third in the championship
Opening the proceedings on Rua Conselheiro Galvão, Flamengo's U-16s took the field to face Madureira, as the two-time Brazilian champions continue their preparations for the Copa do Brasil Gama (DF) round of 16 clash in Brasília. With a very solid and consistent attacking performance from the first minute, the Garotos do Ninho created numerous scoring chances, applied intense pressure, and scored the only goal of the match three minutes into the second half, with Euder, after a beautiful play by Adriel, the Mais Querido's standout player in the match.
Leader of the Under-17 Guanabara Cup with a 100% success rate after three rounds, Flamengo returns to the field next Saturday (04.09), when it hosts Volta Redonda, in Gávea, at 13 pm.
