In matches held on Saturday afternoon (27), in Gávea, Flamengo's U-15 and U-17 teams defeated Macaé, respectively by 3x2 (João Vitor [2] and Cauan Emanuel) and 2x0 (Felipe Chrysman and Jean Sales), in the fifth round of the Guanabara Cup for the categories. With the victories, the U-15 team reached 14 points and remains leader. The U-17 team now has 11 points and continues to fight point by point for the leadership of Group B with Barra da Tijuca and Vasco. In the next round, on 04/05, the two categories visit Resende, at Estádio do Trabalhador.

The U-17s took the field first. Just four minutes in, Felipe attempted a casual shot from the edge of the box. Goalkeeper João Fellip swatted it away, and on the rebound, Felipe Chrysman's shot was blocked by the defense. The heat was intense, and the game was lukewarm. Macaé threatened in the 14th minute, with a cross from Daniel that exploded off Bernardo's right post. In the 23rd minute, Maycon crossed into the box and Otávio, off balance, headed over the Macaé goal.

The Boys of the Nest opened the scoring in the 30th minute. After a one-two with Peçanha at the edge of the box, Felipe Chrysman sent a cross that João Fellip couldn't save, scoring the Mais Querido's first goal on Saturday's football match in Gávea. Two other good chances followed. In the 35th minute, Pedro Arthur laid off Peçanha for a dangerous shot to the right of the opposing goal. The following minute, Leo Xavier crossed and Felipe Chrysman volleyed beautifully, but the ball went wide.

Flamengo went in search of more goals in the second half. In the first minute, Maycon took a corner kick and Gabriel Borsatto, who had replaced Felipe at halftime, headed the ball just wide of João Fellip's right post. In the fourth minute, Peçanha took the corner kick. Felipe Chrysman's shot brushed the near post and Otavio appeared at the far post to score, but the goalkeeper made a great save on the line, preventing Flamengo's second goal of the match.

In the eighth minute, João Fellip performed another miracle. First from close range after Peçanha's shot, and then from the rebound, after Igor Lemos's shot. The goalkeeper crashed into the post after making the save and had to be substituted. In the 34th minute, Jean Sales received the ball unmarked, drove it to the edge of the box, and coolly tapped it past the goalkeeper to score the second and kill the game.

Flamengo: Bernardo, Jhonata, Mandovani, Otavio, Micael; Leo Xavier (Igor Lemos), Maycon, Peçanha (Felipe Cardoso); Felipe (Gabriel Borsatto), Pedro Arthur (Quintino) and Felipe Chrysman (Jean Sales). Coach: Phelipe Leal.

U-15 fights until the end and wins in a comeback

The match began with an own goal by Paquetá in the fourth minute, which opened the scoring in Macaé's favor. In the 15th minute, Petterson was brought down in the box. João Vitor took a classy shot and equalized. However, in the 19th minute, Luiz Felipe took a superb free kick and scored a stunning goal, putting Macaé back in front. The Boys from the Nest equalized before halftime, with a beautiful cross-shot from Cauan Emanuel.

The Mais Querido pressed forward in the second half, searching for the winning goal. In the 15th minute, Petterson unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box, threatening the Macaé goal. In the 18th minute, Cauan Emanuel got the better of the defender and fired a smart shot to the right of Denis's goal. In the 20th minute, another opportunity arose. After a central triangle, Cauan Emanuel appeared unmarked inside the box, but shot straight at Denis.

The pressure paid off in the 32nd minute, when João Vitor was brought down in the box. The penalty was well taken by João Vitor himself, who scored his second goal of the match and sealed the victory for the Garotos do Ninho in the Guanabara Cup, which keeps them top of Group B.

Coach: Leonardo Cherede.
