Last Saturday (27), the under-15 soccer team of Mais Querido, leader, entered the field and defeated Volta Redonda 3-1, at the Volta Redonda Training Center, and reached the third victory in the Taça Rio. The goals were scored by Lucas Gabriel, Yuri and Arthur. In the under-17 category, the Mengão kids also took the lead by beating Volta Redonda 2-1, away from home, and counted on the stumbles of Botafogo and Fluminense to reach the first place. Yuri scored for Flamengo, who also had an own goal.

The under-15s have a 100% success rate and lead the Taça Rio under-15 with nine points. The next match will be on Saturday (03), at 09 am, against Boavista, in Gávea. 

Meanwhile, the U-17s have eight points, two wins in regulation time and one in penalty kicks. The Mais Querido's next match will also be on September 03rd, against Boavista, at 09 am, in Gávea.
