In a match valid for the second round of the group stage of the Copa Votorantim and played on Saturday afternoon (13) at the Municipal Stadium of Votorantim, Flamengo's U-15 team drew with Sport 0-0, repeating the score of the debut against Palmeiras. The result means that Mais Querido reaches the third and final round of the qualifying phase of the main competition in the category in the country depending only on itself to advance. With a simple victory over Grêmio this Sunday (13) at 18:30 pm, the Garotos do Ninho will be guaranteed in the knockout stage of the tournament.

Just like the opening match against Palmeiras, the match against Sport was also fiercely contested from the first minute, with neither team creating many scoring chances. In the sixth minute, Piauí took a corner kick that was headed in by Diego. Goalkeeper Felipe made a good save, and on the rebound, Victor Hugo was blocked by the defense. In the 15th minute, from another Piauí corner kick, Victor Hugo headed the ball over the Pernambuco team's goal. 

Flamengo had two good chances during the second half. In the fifth minute, Daniel fired a powerful shot from outside the box, and Felipe made a quick save. In the 5rd minute, João Pedro took a corner kick into the six-yard box, and Kassio nearly scored after a clearance from the defense. Flamengo fought until the end but couldn't find the winning goal.
