Flamengo's U-15 team continues its journey towards its goal of closing the season by winning the BH Cup (also known as Cruzeiro International Cup), considered one of the two main competitions in the category's calendar in the country (the other is the Votorantim Cup, which will be played in January).

After easily overcoming the group stage of the tournament with a solid campaign of three wins (4-0 against Atlético MG, 1-0 against Cruzeiro Internacional and 2-0 against Jorge Wilstermann), a 1-1 draw against Palmeiras and a 1-0 defeat against Internacional, and securing second place in Group 2, Mais Querido returns to the field this Friday afternoon (08) at 16:30 pm at Toca da Raposa 1 to face São Paulo, third place in Group 1, in a duel valid for the quarterfinal stage of the competition. Whoever passes will face Atlético MG in the semifinal, who defeated Botafogo 1-0. Cruzeiro x Internacional and Palmeiras x Red Bull Brasil are in the other group, and could be the red-black opponents in a possible final, on Sunday.

"Despite losing in the first round, I think we've performed well in every game so far. Today we have another tough battle against São Paulo, a great team. But we remain focused on the goal of this important title, and we're looking for another victory in the competition to continue our journey. Individually, thank God, I've been able to help the team with some good plays, and I hope to continue like this in the coming games," said right-back Jhonata.
