In the first half, the team opened 6-0, with two goals and two assists from Jhefinho and a hat-trick from Rogério, who revealed a prediction from his father.

The game
Just three minutes into the match, Davi Waisman received a perfect pass from Jhefinho and flicked it past the opposing goalkeeper with his left foot, opening the scoring for Flamengo. Flamengo continued to push forward, which was quickly rewarded. In the 17th minute, after a good collective move, Matheus found himself free on the right to set up Rogério, who only had to tap it into the back of the net: 2-0. The third and fourth goals were also his. First, with another assist from number 10 Jefinho, winning the challenge with the defender almost on the line; then, with an assist from Luiz Felipe, he controlled the ball with his head to beat the goalkeeper and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot.
After setting up his teammates for two goals for the red-and-blacks, it was Jhefinho's turn to find the net—twice in less than two minutes. In the 37th minute, he received a free kick from Diego in the penalty area; in the 38th minute, he fired a powerful shot just under the crossbar, in what looked like a replay.
With the score already 6-0 in the first half, Flamengo controlled the victory in the second half and slowed down the pace. Resende scored a consolation goal in the 16th minute, but it didn't take long for Flamengo to respond. After the goalkeeper rebounded Matheus Tiago's free kick, Matheus Guimarães lifted the ball into the box, and Rogério finished with his right foot to complete his fourth and take the competition's top scorer title in the 21st minute. In the 26th and 29th minutes, Pauaca showed opportunism and added two more. Victor Hugo, also a second-half substitute, beat the goalkeeper with a penalty kick in the 33rd minute, sealing the victory: 10-1.
