This Friday (16.01), Flamengo's under-15 team took to the field to compete in the Brazilian Children's Football Cup, in Votorantim/SP. The team, which has six players from the Brazilian national team, faced Bahia and debuted with an exciting 3-3 draw.

In the first half, Flamengo fell behind. Bahia took a 2-0 lead with goals from Yuri and Daniel Silva. Shortly before halftime, Vinicius pulled one back for Flamengo. The restart saw a more attacking Flamengo. With two quick goals from Ferrari and Vinicius, Flamengo took the lead. But midway through the second half, Bahia came from behind to level the score again.

The red-and-black team constantly lends players to the Brazilian national team's youth teams. In the first phase of the Copa Brasil - one of the biggest tournaments in the category - Flamengo also faces Santos, next Friday (17.01), at 9 am; and Grêmio, on Saturday (18.01), at the same time.
