Qualified! In the second leg of the Copa Rio U-15 semifinals, Flamengo won the classic against Botafogo 1-0 this Saturday morning (17), at CEFAT. Luan Andrey scored the goal that guaranteed the red-black triumph. With two victories over the black-and-white team, the Mais Querido qualified for the tournament final and will face Fluminense in the grand final.  

The game
The match began with Botafogo squeezing the red-and-black team's possession, which struggled to get the ball out of the net. Six minutes in, Flamengo created their first threat. Lorran made a solo run at the edge of the box and struck a powerful shot, but the goalkeeper saved it.

Little by little, the Ninho Boys began to loosen up and exchange passes in the attacking midfield. In the 18th minute, Pedrinho received the ball in the box and fired a shot into the corner. Vitor Matias stretched to make the save.

The Mais Querido continued to pressure the black and white team. In the 25th minute, Lorran controlled the ball with his chest and struck first time. The ball grazed the post. Flamengo, the better team, had the better chances in the first half and almost went into halftime with the advantage.

At the start of the second half, Flamengo continued to maintain possession and controlled the game. In the 8th minute, Flamengo opened the scoring! Lorran passed the ball to Luan Andrey, who burst into the box and slotted it past Flamengo's goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

Even after opening the scoring, the Ninho Boys continued to dominate the match and create attacking chances. In the 25th minute, Luan Andrey broke through his marker and struck a powerful shot from the edge of the box. In the final minutes, Caio Barone appeared well and made a great save, securing the victory and Mengão's qualification for the final.

Next appointment
The Mais Querido will face Fluminense in the final of the competition. With a better record in the first phase, the Rubro-Negro will decide the second leg at home, in Gávea.
