Under-15s travel to the Brazilian Children's Football Cup

The red-black team faces Bahia, Santos and Grêmio in the first phase

On Wednesday morning, the under-15 team traveled to the Brazilian Children's Football Cup, in the city of Votorantim, in São Paulo. The group of 20 players, champions of Rede Ball last year, trained before boarding and will debut in the competition on Friday (16.01).

The boys will not have an easy time in the interior of São Paulo. The three matches of the first phase of the championship will be on consecutive days, all at 9 am, against Bahia, on Friday (16.01), Santos, on Saturday (17.01) and Grêmio, on Sunday (18.01).

Dudu Patetuci is the coach of the team going to São Paulo and has had six players called up to the Brazilian national team (Wesley, Athirson, Patrick, Leandro, Vinicius, and Lincoln). In addition to the Rede Ball, their last victory in 2014, the boys are undefeated state champions of the Carioca U-14 championship and, in 2013, they were undefeated champions of the State Youth Championship.
