Under-16: Flamengo draws and secures a place in the final stage of the Olaria Cup Renovado

The red-blacks chased the score and managed a heroic draw this Thursday, in the competition.

In an exciting match, Flamengo drew 2-2 against Botafogo this Thursday morning, in a match held at Rua Bariri, in the third round of the qualifying phase of the Copa Olaria Sub-16.

With the result, the team led by coach Eduardo Zuma is qualified for the final stage of the tournament. The semifinal game will take place next Tuesday (12), at the same location, with the time to be defined.

The goals: 

In the 12th minute of the second half, Rogério provided an assist at the edge of the box, for a precise finish from João Vitor. 

Mengão equalized in the 18th minute with Samuel, who had just entered the match. The striker made a beautiful solo run down the left flank and, at the edge of the six-yard box, managed to break free from his opponents and tap the ball into the back of the net.
