Thirsty for titles. These are the U-16 Boys from the Nest. Having recently won their second World Cup title in Dubai and the Verona Soccer Cup, Flamengo's U-16 team continues to make history and, despite competing in an U-17 competition, secured a spot in the Puskás-Suzuki Kupa final in Hungary this Sunday morning (09), after a 2-0 victory (Ryan Luka and Wiverson) over the Romanians from Hagi Academy (Vitoruul). It's worth remembering that in their debut match, Flamengo defeated Real Madrid 1-0. In the grand final, their opponent will be Puskás Academy (HUN), who defeated Panathinaikos (GRE) 2-0 in the other semifinal.

The Mais Querido arrived for the semifinal match knowing that only a victory by two or more goals would suffice, following yesterday's 3-2 loss to Budapest Honved (HUN). And they attacked their opponents from the first minute of the match. The strategy paid off, and Flamengo opened the scoring just four minutes in. After intense pressure from the Romanian team on the ball, the goalkeeper attempted a long shot forward but was blocked by Ryan Luka, who saw the ball end up in the back of the net.

The red-and-black pressure continued throughout the first half, but the decisive goal only came in the second half. Six minutes in, Daniel Campos battled with the defense, and the ball fell to Wiverson on the left. The division's top scorer of the season brought it inside and skillfully beat the goalkeeper, scoring his 11th goal of the year and sending the Garotos do Ninho into another international final in 2019.
