In their debut game in the Liam Brady Cup 2023, in London, Flamengo's U-16s beat Liverpool (ING) this Saturday (13) by a score of 3 to 1. The goals were scored by João Sousa, Lucas Vieira and Fred.

In the second game of the day, the red-black team defeated Arsenal (ENG), host of the tournament, by 2-1, goals from David and Camargo.

The Boys from the Most Beloved Nest will return to the field this Sunday (14), for the third round, to face PSV Eindhoven. A draw will guarantee the Most Beloved in the final, which will be played on the same day.

It is worth noting that each match lasts 50 minutes, that is, 25 minutes each half.
