Two-time undefeated champion of the Dubai International Championship, a competition considered the World Cup for its age group, Flamengo's U-16 team continues to crush anyone who crosses its path on foreign soil. On Sunday afternoon (28), the "Garotos do Ninho" (Ninho Boys), led by coach Mario Jorge, debuted in the Verona Soccer Cup, a traditional competition held in Italy, with yet another rout. This time, the victim was Vicenza (ITA), who proved no match for the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved). The 4-0 victory in favor of the red-and-black team was achieved with two goals from Ryan Luka (top scorer in Dubai with seven goals), one from Daniel Campos, and one from captain Diego, who was named the player of the Dubai tournament. 

Leader of Group A, Flamengo returns to the field for a double round this Monday (29). Always in Brasília time, the Mais Querido opens the work at 5:30 am, facing Hellas Verona. At 13:30 pm, a duel between red-black giants, against Milan.

With morale high after their second undefeated championship in Dubai, the Boys from the Nest went on the attack from the first minute and easily secured the victory. In the fourth minute, Oliveira crossed into the box, João Pedro laid it off, and Victor Hugo struck, drawing a superb save from the goalkeeper, who palmed it out for a corner. In the 11th minute, Richard was brought down inside the box, and the referee awarded a penalty. Captain Diego, named the Man of the Tournament in Dubai, struck with skill and opened the scoring for the Boys from the Nest. In the 13th minute, Daniel Campos extended the lead with a shot from the edge of the box.

Flamengo was infinitely superior to their opponents, and scored the third in the 19th minute, when Oliveira headed the ball, the Italian goalkeeper failed to control the ball outside the area and Ryan Luka, very attentive to the play, stole the candy from the child and simply rolled it calmly into the back of the net.

The second half was a lukewarm affair. Aware of the marathon ahead, the "Mais Querido" (the most beloved team) held back and simply managed their lead. Even so, the rout came in the 21st minute, with another goal from Ryan Luka, a cross-shot that the goalkeeper couldn't save. It was the ninth goal for the red-and-black striker in the six matches played so far on the international tour, including the matches in Dubai.
