Another victory for the U-16 Ninho Boys. On Tuesday morning (7), Flamengo beat Goytacaz 4-1 at Rua Bariri in the Olaria Renovado Cup. The red-black goals in the match were scored by: Hidaka, Gabriel Matthew, Giovanni and Sergio Luis. With the third consecutive victory, Flamengo reached 9 points and secured an early spot in the tournament semifinals, in addition to remaining at the top of group A.

The game
The match started with a lot of action, with two chances for each side and a solid performance from the red-black goalkeeper Gustavo Ribas.

After the opening 10 minutes, the Ninho Boys took control of the match. On a play down the right flank, Hidaka opened the scoring with a classy touch: 1-0. After the timeout, Flamengo didn't take long to double the lead. With a low free kick from the right, almost at the edge of the penalty area, Gabriel fooled the goalkeeper and fired the ball into the back of the net: 2-0.

Early in the second half, Goytacaz pulled one back. Coach Léo Cherede then reorganized the pitch, and due to the blazing sun in Olaria, he made changes, regaining control of the match and taking the lead with two more beautiful goals from Giovanni Pastri and Sergio Luis.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Thursday (9), against Serrano, at 10:30 am, on Rua Bariri.
