Last Tuesday (04.08), Flamengo's under-16 team achieved a great result in the first round of the second phase of the Guilherme Embry Tournament, in Colônia. The boys beat Rio das Pedras 5-1, with goals from Julinho, Alisson, Marques (2) and Pablo, all in the second half. In the first half, Rio das Pedras opened the scoring.
Flamengo finished the first half of the season in third place, just two points behind champions Fluminense. The boys' next challenge is against Tricolor on Tuesday (August 11.08th) at 9 a.m. at the Gávea clubhouse. Flamengo has the competition's top scorer so far, Fabrício, with seven goals.
