Under-17s defeat the Brazilian National Team in a friendly match at Granja Comary

By Ian Sena - inIn a friendly match played on Thursday morning (14) at Granja Comary, Flamengo's U-17 team, which was led by coach Ramon Lima in the match, as Phelipe Leal, the category's head coach, is also Guilherme Dalla Déa's assistant in charge of the Brazilian National Team, defeated the national team in the category by a score of 1x0. Midfielder Yuri de Oliveira scored the red-black winning goal in the 14th minute of the second half, with a low shot that goalkeeper Bruno had no chance of saving.
In preparation for the upcoming South American Under-17 Championship, which will be held in 2019, the Brazilian National Team is gathered in Teresópolis for another week of training ahead of next year's competition. Reinier, the "Garoto do Ninho" (Brazilian Nest Boy), not only started but also captained the national team. The other four red-and-black players called up (Pedro Arthur, Gabriel Noga, Caio, and Diego Santos) came on as the match progressed. In the second half, the defense consisted of Gabriel Noga and Diego, with Noga serving as captain.
In an excellent season so far, Flamengo's U-17 team has already been crowned undefeated champion of the Adidas Generation Cup, in Dallas, and is fighting point for point with Botafogo, Vasco and Fluminense for the leadership of the Guanabara Cup (the difference between the four is just one point in the classification table, in 11 rounds played). For the State Championship, Mais Querido plays on Saturday (16) at 11 am against Portuguesa, at the Luso Brasileiro Stadium.
At Granja Comary, Flamengo took the field with João Fernando, Braian, Teo, Lucas Chagas, Ítalo; Lucas Gabriel, Gomes, Yuri de Oliveira; Bruno Gabriel, Rodrigo Muniz, and Rhyan. In the second half, immediately after Yuri's goal, Ramon Lima made his allotted 11 substitutions, and the team started with Pedro Victor, Marcos Felipe, Hugo, Otávio, Sidney; Dhouglas, Denilson, Mayquinho, João Gabriel, Paulo Victor, and Lázaro.
