Flamengo's U-17s defeat Nova Iguaçu in the Carioca Championship

The team led by Daniel Franklin added three more points in the competition.

After winning in the first round of the Carioca Sub-17, Flamengo did their homework in their second game in the competition and beat Nova Iguaçu, 3-0, this Saturday, in Gávea.

Kaio Gomes, Ryan Roberto and João Vitor scored for Mengão in the second half. The team will play again in the championship next Saturday (22), away from home, against Maricá.

The game:

In a first half with few chances created, the best opportunity came from a shot from outside the box by midfielder Enzo.

After the locker room conversation,
Flamengo returned determined to achieve victory. 

The first goal came from Kaio Gomes in the sixth minute. The following minute, it was Ryan Roberto's turn to score. 

Another player coming off the bench, João Vitor closed the scoring in the 22nd minute.
