In an inspired afternoon for number 10 Guilherme Gomes, Flamengo's U-17s closed out the final round of the Guanabara Cup by beating Volta Redonda 4-0. The match took place this Saturday in Gávea. The red-and-black goals were scored by Guilherme (2), Bill and Germano. 

With the result, the Garotos do Ninho finished the first phase in second place, with 25 points. The team awaits its opponent in the quarterfinals, which will begin next Saturday (28). Mengão in this phase will have the advantage of deciding the second match at home.

The goals

28 minutes into the 1st half - after receiving a pass from Felipe Teresa, Guilherme Gomes, with a low shot, into the goalkeeper's left corner, made it 1-0 for Mais Querido.

38 minutes of the 1st half - With a penalty kick, Guilherme Gomes made it 2-0.

41 minutes into the 1st half - after a partial save from the goalkeeper, in a play with Felipe Lima, Bill grabbed the rebound and put the ball in the net to score the third.

13 minutes into the second half - Germano, also from the penalty spot, closed the scoring.
