The Under-17 Boys of the Nest drew 0-0 with Botafogo, in the 9th round of the Copa Rio, on Saturday morning (13/05), in Gávea. With the result, Flamengo maintains second place in the table, with 23 points.

In a close-fought derby from the start, the Red-Blacks dominated the attacking play and possession. The best chance came in the first half, a free kick taken by Bill, but Felipe Teresa ultimately missed. In the final minute of the match, Edmilson took a chance with a free kick that hit the post, nearly scoring a stunning goal.

Earlier, the U-15 team ended up losing 3-1. Both categories return to action next week, in another double round, against Nova Iguaçu.
