Last Saturday (01.11/15) was another day of games for the red-black youth team. The boys from the under-17, under-20 and under-0 teams took to the field, the first two against Madureira, achieving two victories, and the last against Bangu, drawing 0-XNUMX.

In Conselheiro Galvão, the under-17 athletes defeated the Madura team 3-0. Despite the large score, the match was tough. Playing in intense heat and away from home, the red-and-black boys scored two goals in the first half, with Matheus Jesus and Diego. In the second half, Felipe Vizeu came on and scored the third from the penalty spot, sealing the victory.

After the U-17s, it was the U-15s' turn, in even more intense heat, to face the home team, the Tricolor. Already ranked first, the Flamengo team fell behind twice, but they didn't give up. The youngsters turned the game around, but soon conceded the equalizer, sending the match to penalties. With a great performance from goalkeeper Hugo, known as Neneca, Flamengo secured a 3-0 victory, with goals from Gabriel, Leandro, and Pablo. Both the U-15s and U-17s now face Vasco in the Taça Rio semifinals, seeking a spot in the final.

At the Eustáquio Marques Stadium, the U-20s faced Bangu and drew 0-0 in the second phase of the OPG Tournament. With this result, the Mais Querido remains in second place in their group, just three points behind leaders Olaria, with nine remaining. The next challenge is against São João da Barra, on Saturday (November 08.11), at the Manoel José Viana de Sá Stadium.
