U-17s finish preparations for the classic against Fluminense in the Copa do Brasil semifinal

On the afternoon of this Thursday (14), the Garotos do Ninho held their last training session at Ninho do Urubu, before the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil Sub-17 against Fluminense. The first match of the final takes place tomorrow (15), at 14:45 pm, in Gávea.
Coach Ramon Lima celebrated the return of important players to the red-black team:
"We know Fluminense is a qualified opponent, but above all, we know our strengths. We're counting on important returns for the division, so we're stronger for this game. We feel well prepared to put on a great performance."
The manager stated that Flamengo is looking for a good result in the first leg of the classic:
"A derby is always special. We try to instill calm in the boys and have the intelligence to play the game. There are two matches, and we know this first step is very important. We'll try to use this home advantage to perform well and gain an advantage in the return leg," concluded the coach.
Striker João Pedro spoke about preparing for the Fla-Flu:
