Flamengo's U-17 team continues its quest for its second international title in the 2018 season. After winning the Adidas Generation Cup in Dallas, United States, in January, the Ninho Boys are now battling against seven teams from Europe, Asia, Oceania and South America for the title of the Evergrande Cup U-17 International Football Championship, in Guangzhou, China.

The first objective was achieved on the morning of this Thursday (23). With an unassailable 7x1 thrashing (Lázaro [2], Luís Gustavo, Rhyan, Yuri de Oliveira, Bruno Gabriel and Daniel Cabral) over Hubei FA, from China, Mais Querido qualified for the semifinal of the competition undefeated in the group stage, after draws against Villarreal (Spain) and Peñarol (Uruguay) by 1x1 and 0x0, respectively, in the first two rounds.

The place in the grand final will be disputed on Saturday (25), at 5:30 am Brasília time against Palmeiras. In the other semifinal, Villarreal faces Sidney Wanderers, from Australia.
