In addition to maintaining 100% performance in the competition, since Mais Querido had beaten Chapecoense in the debut by 2x1, the victory leaves the Garotos do Ninho very close to qualifying for the round of 17 of the tournament. In the next round, the third and final of the first phase, Rubro-Negro faces América de Teófilo Otoni again in Ibirité, at 21 pm this Saturday (XNUMX). The first-place team in each of the ten groups advances to the next phase, as do the six best second-place teams.

The match against Lusa São Paulo had a tight first half with few scoring chances. Even so, the Ninho Boys were clinical and opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Ramon cut inside and crossed to Rodrigo Muniz. Unmarked at the far post, he unleashed a beautiful, diving shot into the top corner, leaving goalkeeper Adrian with no chance.
