In a match played this Saturday afternoon (19) at the Dragão Training Center, in Goiânia, and valid for the seventh round of the group stage of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship, the Garotos do Ninho, who had been on a run of six consecutive wins in the competition, could not withstand the four absences forced by the call-up to the Brazilian National Team and were defeated by Atlético GO 3-1 (Victor Hugo). Despite the adverse score, the team led by coach Mario Jorge remains in the isolated lead of Group A with 18 points, two ahead of second-placed Palmeiras. In the next round, Mais Querido, which has already mathematically secured its qualification for the quarter-finals of the Brazilian Championship, travels again, this time to face Cruzeiro. The duel is scheduled for the 29th, at 17 pm, at SESC Alterosas, in Belo Horizonte.

The game was still very cautious and had few scoring opportunities when Atlético GO opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a header from defender Renan Cosenza. In the 22nd minute, Bernardo took a powerful shot from the edge of the area, and Flamengo's goalkeeper Gustavo Jundi made a great save, tipping the ball over for a corner. Flamengo had their first real attack in the 25th minute and almost equalized. Darlan passed to Petterson, who outpaced his marker and crossed to Mateusão.
