In a match played on Tuesday afternoon (03) at Estádio da Gávea, and valid for the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo's U-17 team fought hard, pressured the opponent until the last minute of injury time and created the best goal opportunities, but left the field defeated by the score of 2x1 (Will). Despite the adverse result, the Garotos do Ninho remain in the G4 of Group B, with 10 points won. Next Saturday, Mais Querido has a direct duel for classification against Santos, at 15 pm, in Gávea.

Just two minutes into the match, Rodriguinho took a free kick for São Paulo. The ball flew past everyone in the box and eluded goalkeeper Kauã, ending up in the back of the Flamengo net. Eight minutes in, Will took a free kick with skill, but the ball bounced off São Paulo goalkeeper Leandro's crossbar. A minute later, João Pedro sprinted into the box, and shot, but Leandro made a great save. Flamengo was already pressing forward in search of an equalizer.

In the 15th minute, Richard Almeida crossed and Will headed over the Tricolor goal. The Red-Blacks were creating plenty of chances and playing in the attacking half, but it was São Paulo who scored the second goal. In the 32nd minute, João Adriano received the ball in the box and fired a cross, extending the lead for the São Paulo team, who rightly had defender Negrucci sent off late in the first half. 

Flamengo kept the pressure on throughout the second half. Cornered, São Paulo simply defended and hoped for the clock to tick down. In the tenth minute, Petterson hit a cross, and the defense cleared it for a corner. In the fifteenth minute, Rayan Lucas took a shot from outside the box, but the ball flew just wide of Leandro's right post. In the eighteenth minute, Fabricio Yan, who had just come on, struck hard first-time, and Leandro made another save.

The Boys of the Nest deserved a better result, and the first goal finally came in the 19th minute. Petterson made a beautiful play and hit a cross. Opportunistic and well-positioned, Will simply tapped it into the back of the net. The Most Beloved wanted the equalizer, and it was all attack. In the 36th minute, Cleiton headed the ball, threatening the São Paulo goal. In the 40th minute, Fabricio Yan took a corner kick, and the ball exploded off Leandro's crossbar. The Boys of the Nest pressed hard in search of an equalizer, but the game ended with a Tricolor victory.
