With the great result, Rubro-Negro finished the first phase of the competition with 100% success, after defeating Ponte Nova, Paraná and Grêmio, and with the isolated leadership of group G. In the round of 18, Flamengo will face Novorizontino, second place in group B. The eliminatory match is scheduled for Tuesday (20), at 15:XNUMX pm, again in Rio Doce.

Already qualified, Flamengo took the field against Grêmio aiming to secure top spot in the group, as well as eliminate one of their main rivals in the title race.
