In a match held on Friday night (14.07) at the Caetano Cenachi Neto Municipal Stadium, in Rio Doce, Flamengo's U-17 team defeated Paraná 2x0 (Rhyan and Marx), repeating the score of the victory in the debut over Ponte Nova, and qualified in advance for the round of 5 of the Taça BH, one of the country's top competitions in this category. In the final group stage match, Mais Querido faces Grêmio, who earlier defeated Ponte Nova 1-13. The match will take place on Sunday at XNUMX p.m., again in Rio Doce.

Rubro-Negro dominated the match from the start and managed to open the scoring in the 36th minute of the first half. Rhyan challenged for the ball in the air and headed it to Vitor Ricardo, who shot across goal. After a clearance from the defense, the ball fell to Rhyan inside the box. He fired a low, left-footed shot into the goalkeeper's right corner, scoring the Rubro-Negro's first goal.

Early in the second half, the Nest Boys scored another. And it was a memorable goal! After regaining possession in their own half, Marx broke free from his marker and fired a shot from a long shot, unstoppable, into the goalkeeper's right corner. A truly stunning goal. The thing is, in the previous play, Marx himself had tried from midfield after noticing the goalkeeper was ahead, and the ball nearly went in.
