The Mais Querido under-17 soccer team won its second victory in the Copa do Brasil in the category, eliminating its opponent, Náutico-PE, and advancing in the competition. Playing at home, in Gávea, this Thursday (07), Flamengo confirmed its favoritism, and beat the visiting team 3-0. 

Under Gilmar Popoca's command, Flamengo opened the scoring in the 34th minute of the first half, scored by captain Matheus Thuler. In the second half, the visiting team scored an own goal, favoring the Mais Querido and increasing the score to 2-0. Flamengo's third and final goal came in the 21st minute of the second half, with substitute Lincoln, who came on to replace number 9 Marques.

The Flamengo youth academy had already beaten the northeastern team 1-0 in the first leg. In the next round, Flamengo faces Goiás. The first match is scheduled for April 20th at 20 pm at the Hailé Pinheiro stadium in Goiânia. If Flamengo wins by two goals away from home, it will eliminate the need for a second leg. If it advances to the semifinals, the "Mais Querido" will face the winner of the match between São Paulo and Sport.
