Mengão's under-17 team continues its strong run. This Saturday, in Gávea, for the Guanabara Cup, they defeated Vasco 2-0 with goals from Lázaro and Weverton. Goalkeeper Bruno also shone in the second half, saving a penalty. 

The victory was crucial, as Mengão tied with Vasco at the top of Group B in points (17) and has one game in hand.

In the Guanabara Under-15 Cup, Mengão drew 1-1 with Vasco. Vasco won 8-7 in penalties, earning a point. João Vitor scored Mengão's goal in regulation time.
