After qualifying with first place in their group, Flamengo's under-17 team beat Corinthians 3-0 on Saturday night (16), in the round of XNUMX of the Taça BH, providing a great game for the residents of the municipality of Muriaé, in Minas Gerais.

The red-and-black boys started the game in devastating fashion, putting pressure on the São Paulo team, the current champions of the Copa do Brasil in this category, from the outset. The score was opened in the 11th minute, with a beautiful finish from Bill after a play by Vinicius Junior.

With the advantage on the scoreboard, Flamengo maintained the intensity and extended their lead with an individual play by Vinicius Junior, who dribbled past the defender at speed and hit a cross to make it 2-0, 20 minutes into the first half. 

In the 34th minute, in a beautiful triangulation at the edge of the area, right-back Wesley found Lincoln, who with a beautiful assist left Vinicius Junior in front of the goalkeeper to touch with class in the left corner of the goalkeeper and make it 3-0, the first half score.

In the second half, the red-black team managed the result very well, and still had chances to increase the score, but the game ended 3-0. The under-17 team, which last week won the Guanabara Cup in its category, secured a place in the quarterfinals of the competition.

In the next match, Flamengo will face Atlético-MG. The game will be held on Tuesday (19), in Belo Horizonte, with the ball rolling from 18:30 pm. The duel will be broadcast live on the Sportv channel.
