With a goal in the 9th minute of the second half, Flamengo's under-20 team ended up defeated 1-0 by Fluminense, this Saturday (28), in the first leg of the OPG Tournament semifinals. The match was played at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea.

Flamengo created a threat in the fifth minute. Lucas Vieira delivered a great pass to Bill, who burst into the box and fell after colliding with the defender. The team kept calling for a penalty. Fluminense returned the favor in the tenth minute with a dangerous shot from the edge of the box, well saved by Eduardo Jung.

In the 21st minute, Lorran made a good play and lobbed the ball over the bar. The ball sailed over the bar, near the right corner of the post. Five minutes later, Bill burst into the box and had the best chance of the match so far, but the Tricolor goalkeeper saved it. There were no more incisive chances for the remainder of the first half.

Early in the second half, Fluminense nearly opened the scoring. Lorran recovered a ball in midfield and passed it to Pablo Lucio, who shot it over the goalkeeper. On the rebound, Pablo attempted a backheel cross, but the opposing defense cleared it. Fluminense eventually took the lead in the 9th minute and came close to extending their lead in the 18th.

The Flamengo team struggled mightily on the field, but failed to create any clear-cut scoring opportunities until the 45th minute, when Camargo's shot was saved by the goalkeeper. Before the end of the match, Flamengo had one more chance, with Pablo Lucio, and a few corners, but failed to equalize.
