In the first leg of the round of 20 of the Copa do Brasil Sub-1, Flamengo was defeated by Goiás 0-22 this Thursday (XNUMX), at the Elcyr Resende stadium, in Bacaxá-RJ. With the result, Rubro-Negro will need to win by two goals in the second leg to advance to the next stage.

The game
The first half began with Flamengo pressing Goiás's ball out, which struggled to get the ball out. The first clear chance fell to Flamengo in the 17th minute. Índio led the counterattack and passed to Daniel, who fired wide.

With few opportunities created, the Red-Blacks exchanged passes in the Goiás midfield, looking for a gap in the well-positioned Goiás defense. The first half ended with the score tied and few clear-cut chances.

In the second half, the game remained quite tight in midfield, with both sides giving and taking a lot of chances. In the ninth minute, Goiás opened the scoring. On a quick counterattack down the right, Índio crossed to Lucas, who was inside the box and unleashed a powerful shot to make it 1-0.

Trailing, Flamengo began to put more pressure on Goiás in their own half. Despite pushing hard for an equalizer until the end, the Flamengo team was unable to find the equalizer and heads into the second leg with a one-goal deficit.
