Flamengo's Under-20 team faced Botafogo in the seventh round of the Taça Rio this Wednesday (27.05), and maintained its unbeaten run in the championship. The Mais Querido drew with the classic rival playing at home, in Gávea. 

Lucas Paquetá, the current number 10, opened the scoring in the 14th minute of the first half. The goalscorer was replaced in the second half by Robinho, who recently made his starting debut against Boa Vista. Botafogo equalized in the 16th minute, making the score 1-1. 

The team's next challenge is on Saturday (30.05) against Friburgense, at Eduardo Guinle stadium. The match will also be valid for the Rio Cup.

Following the youth academy's strong showing, the U16 team won its first game of the Guilherme Embry Cup yesterday. The boys played against Rio das Ostras in Gávea.
