In a match held this Saturday afternoon (13.05) at Engenhão, Flamengo's U-20 team drew 1-1 (Fabrício) with Botafogo. The final result of the game, valid for the second round of the Taça Rio in the category, keeps Mais Querido with the best overall campaign in the competition, and needing only three more victories to mathematically guarantee a place in the State semifinal, without the need to win the second round.

The Red-Blacks didn't start the derby very well, seeing their opponents open the scoring in the first half. The second half was a complete massacre for the Ninho Boys, who missed numerous chances and only managed to equalize in the 42nd minute of the second half, with a cross-shot from Fabrício, who had replaced Gabriel Silva.

"The goal was important, and our goal is to always win titles. Our group is very united and has a lot of quality. With great humility, we will go in search of the Copa do Brasil and also the Campeonato Carioca titles," said striker Fabrício.

The Boys of the Nest return to the field for the State Championship next Sunday, against Vasco, at São Januário. Before that, however, the Most Beloved takes to the field for the semifinal of the U-20 Brazil Cup to play the first leg against Avaí, on Thursday (18.05) at 21:15 pm, at the Los Larios Stadium, in Xerém. The duel will be broadcast live on SporTV and ESPN Brasil.
