Flamengo's under-20 soccer team has been disqualified from the Guanabara Cup in the category. After a 2-1 loss to Botafogo in the first leg, in Gávea, the Rubro-Negro needed a victory by two goals in the return leg, this afternoon (6), but ended up drawing 1-1.
The score was built in the second half. Botafogo opened the scoring in the 12th minute, and Sávio leveled the score with a goal from outside the box in the 33rd.
The boys' next match will be on May 18th, when the team debuts in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, against Internacional, in Rio de Janeiro.
