U-20s thrashed Atlético GO in Goiânia, maintained their 100% record and took sole leadership of the Brasileirão

With the victory, Flamengo maintained its perfect campaign in the Brasileirão, with three wins in three games, and took the sole lead in the competition. In the next round, Mais Querido will host Grêmio, at Gávea. The duel will be played on Sunday (11), at Gávea, at 11 am, with transmission on SporTV. Before that, for the Taça Guanabara, Mengão's Under-20 team will host Resende, at Gávea, on Wednesday (07) at 15 pm, with live transmission on FlaTV.
The Game
The first half in Goiânia was quite balanced. With greater ball possession and control of the game, Flamengo created the best opportunities and opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a beautiful goal from Yuri de Oliveira. The Flamengo midfielder exchanged passes with Lázaro from midfield until receiving the ball at the penalty spot to score the first goal for the Flamengo youth team.
In the first half of the second half, the game remained balanced. Flamengo had a good chance to extend their lead in the 20th minute, with a shot from Daniel Cabral that hit the post. In the 34th minute, a scare: the Goiás team equalized through Rian. Right after the kickoff, the Flamengo youth team regained the lead with another goal from André, who is in excellent form. It was the third consecutive game in which he scored.
