It was difficult to play football. Facing Olaria on a pitch in deplorable condition, Flamengo's Under-20 team went to the Rua Bariri Stadium and suffered a 2-0 defeat in a match valid for the first round of the second phase of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament. In the next round, Flamengo will host... Madureira, in Gávea. The duel is scheduled for next Saturday (27), at 10 am.

Olaria had the first opportunity. At six minutes, after a corner kick at the near post, Amorim anticipated the marking and headed the ball just wide of Hugo Souza's crossbar. At 14 minutes, Amorim attempted a cross and almost surprised Hugo Souza, who stretched out and made a great save, deflecting a ball that would have gone into the top corner. The pitch was terrible, severely hindering the red-and-black team's style of play. At 34 minutes, Klebinho tried a long-range shot, but goalkeeper Marcão made a safe save.

Olaria almost opened the scoring in the 37th minute. After a cross into the area and indecision between Hugo Souza and Klebinho, João headed the ball. It bounced and went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Luiz Henrique shot first-time from inside the area, forcing another save from Marcão. The best chance came in the last play of the first half. In stoppage time, Klebinho took a free kick from the side and shot directly at goal, when everyone expected a cross into the area. The goalkeeper couldn't do anything, but, capriciously, the ball hit the junction between the crossbar and the post. The referee then ended the first half.

The second half began with Olaria creating a scare. Amorim took a shot across goal from the edge of the area, and Hugo Souza, well positioned, made the save without giving up a rebound. The home team went on the attack and almost opened the scoring in the 15th minute. Vitor Gabriel controlled the ball and delivered a great pass behind the defense to Bill. He burst into the area at speed but was smothered by the goalkeeper, finishing weakly and wasting a good opportunity.

Olaria opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a header from defender Diego. In the following minute, Klebinho took a free kick and Henrique appeared unmarked inside the six-yard box. He volleyed it first time, but the ball went too high and over the goal. In the 43rd minute, on a counter-attack, Amorim scored Olaria's second. In the next round, the Garotos do Ninho host Madureira. The match is scheduled for Saturday (27), at 10 am, at Gávea.
