Before halftime, Matheus Sávio crossed for Trindade, who headed the ball just off the crossbar.

Early in the second half, Douglas Baggio nearly scored with a powerful long-range shot. A minute later, Matheus Sávio arrived well and skillfully chipped the ball over the goalkeeper, but the ball refused to go in. After several attempts, the goal came in the final stretch: Douglas Baggio made a good play and shot, but the goalkeeper saved; from the rebound, Nathan opened the scoring: 1-0.
