U-20 qualifies with a draw in the Brazilian Championship
A 2-2 draw with Grêmio is enough for Flamengo to advance to the second phase.

On Thursday afternoon (09.07), Flamengo drew 2-2 with Grêmio in the fifth round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. The result was enough for the Rubro-Negro, undefeated, to qualify for the second phase.
It was the Tricolor Gaúcho who opened the scoring in the first half, and Grêmio went into halftime leading 1-0. But just ten minutes into the second half, Douglas Baggio equalized for Flamengo, scoring his third goal in the competition in four matches. A few minutes later, from the penalty spot, Grêmio scored again, but Felipe Vizeu equalized in the 34th minute to secure the red-and-black's qualification.
