Flamengo's under-20 football team beat Tigres do Brasil this morning (30), at Gávea headquarters, 3-1 and, with the result, secured a place in the semi-final of the Guanabara Cup. Rubro-Negro faces Botafogo, on Saturday (2) and Wednesday (6) for the two games that will be worth a place in the decision of the first round of Carioca, in Gávea and CEFAT, respectively.

Number 11 Lucas Silva scored all three goals in the victory for "Mais Querido." The red-and-black team also depended on a Fluminense victory to qualify, and the Tricolor defeated Portuguesa 8-0.

In 2015, Flamengo beat Botafogo in the finals of both rounds of the State Championship, Taça Guanabara and Taça Rio, becoming the Carioca champion.
