The end of the year is a busy one for the #GarotosDoNinho, and preparations for the São Paulo Junior Football Cup are in full swing at Gávea. The Red-Blacks make their competition debut on the 03rd against River-PI in Jaguariúna. The Most Beloved are the current champions of the tournament and will be seeking their fifth title to add to their trophy collection.

Coach Maurício Souza began the day's activities with an attack-versus-defense drill. Following this, the athletes completed a group training session in a reduced-sized area that lasted about 15 minutes. Also on the Gávea pitch, the goalkeepers honed their technique and speed with coach Nielsen Elias. 

To integrate the squad that will seek the fifth title of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup at the beginning of 2019, coach Maurício Souza will have at his disposal some champions of the Under-17 Brazil Cup. Reinier, Rhyan, Gomes and Ítalo trained on the afternoon of this Wednesday (26) and will be part of the group that will travel. 

Flamengo is in Group 15 of the Copinha and will debut on the 03rd against River-PI. The Flamengo will host Jaguariúna, and on the 06th, the team led by Maurício Souza will face Trindade. The group stage will conclude on the 09th against the home team.
