In a match played on Wednesday afternoon (04) at Arena Condá and valid for the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship in the category, Flamengo's U-20 team, led by coach Mauricio Souza, achieved an important victory over Chapecoense by 3x1 (Rodrigo Muniz, Gabriel Noga and Matheus França), a result that puts the Garotos do Ninho back in the isolated lead of the national competition, now with 30 points won. Palmeiras, which was defeated in the round by Grêmio by 2x1, has 29. In the next round, Mais Querido receives Atlético MG (6th place), in Gávea. The duel is scheduled for Wednesday (11), at 15 pm, and will be broadcast live on Globoesporte.com. 

Flamengo started the game by putting a lot of pressure on the Santa Catarina team's attack, a move that led to good scoring chances. In the fifth minute, after the second ball was stolen near the Chapecoense penalty area, Matheus França burst into the box at speed and hit a cross, but his shot was blocked by the defense. In the seventh minute, Rodrigo Muniz pressured the goalkeeper and managed another steal. Denilson passed the ball to Yuri, who unleashed a powerful shot. Igor Campos recovered and made a fine save, palming the ball out for a corner.
