On the afternoon of last Saturday (17) the Flamengo under-20 football team easily beat the Ceres team 5-1, at the José Bastos Padilha stadium, in Gávea headquarters, for the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament, and qualified in first place in group A, with 13 points. There were four victories and one draw in the undefeated campaign so far. The athlete Antônio Carlos was one of the highlights of Rubro-Negro, scoring two goals in the duel.

In the second phase, Mengão joins Fluminense, Campos and Tigres do Brasil in Group E. Group F will be formed by Botafogo, Vasco, Friburguense and Itaboraí. The teams face each other twice within each group and only one qualifies for the final. The Mais Querido's first match will be on Wednesday (21), at 15 pm, in Gávea, against Tigres do Brasil.
