Flamengo's under-20 soccer team took to the field this Saturday afternoon (May 30.05) and came from behind to beat Friburguense 2-1 at the Eduardo Guinle stadium, the opponent's home ground. Lohan opened the scoring for the opposition in the first half. The Rubro-Negro's turnaround came with Matheus Sávio's free kick. The breakthrough came in the final minutes of the match, in the 43rd minute of the second half, when Marquinhos pounced on a rebound from a corner kick and hit a beautiful shot from outside the box.

Coach Zé Ricardo analyzed his players' performance. "We had plenty of chances in the second half. Staying calm until the end helped. The players were very dedicated in a tough match against a team that defended well," he said.

The boys return to the field next Saturday (06.06), at 15 pm, to face Volta Redonda, at the Cidadania stadium. The match will be valid for the ninth round of the Rio Junior Cup.
