In a match played on Tuesday afternoon (02) in Gávea, Flamengo's U-20 team, led by coach Mauricio Souza, easily beat Bahia by a score of 3x1 (Vitor Gabriel [2] and Bill). The victory, the second in two games in the Brazilian Championship, keeps the Mais Querido at the top of the competition, with 100% success, and seven goals scored in two rounds. The next commitment in the Brasileirão will be on Wednesday (10), at 15 pm against Vitória, in Barradão. Before, on Sunday, Rubro-Negro receives Fluminense in Gávea, in a classic valid for the third round of the Taça Rio.

Flamengo opened the scoring with its first opportunity of the match. Three minutes in, Bill was fouled hard in the halfway line. Luiz Henrique perfectly headed the ball to Vitor Gabriel, who headed it in with class to score the Garotos do Ninho's first goal of the match. Eight minutes in, Flamengo extended their lead. Yuri delivered a beautiful pass to Vitor Gabriel, who displayed great skill and composure to beat goalkeeper Fabricio and score his second goal of the match. In an isolated play late in the first half, Caio reduced the deficit from the penalty spot for Bahia.

Flamengo started the second half by pressing the opposition. In the first minute, Ramon crossed and Yuri fired it over the bar. In the tenth minute, Flamengo scored the third. Matheus França took a throw-in inside the box, and after a rebound, the ball fell to Bill. The striker struck beautifully, restoring Flamengo's composure. 

Flamengo wanted to repeat the score from their debut against Coritiba and went on the attack in search of a fourth goal. They nearly turned the game into a rout in the 28th minute, when Vitor Gabriel received the ball in the box and turned toward his marker, but the ball went wide of Fabricio's goal. In the 30th minute, Wendel curled a shot, putting the Bahian team's goal in danger. Flamengo threatened again in the 33rd minute, with a great individual play by Wendel. He beat four defenders and shot from inside the box. The goalkeeper rebounded, and Vitor Gabriel was then blocked by the defense.

In stoppage time, Rodrigo Muniz unleashed a bomb from the penalty spot, and Fabricio performed a true miracle, preventing the fourth goal, but not the second victory for the red-blacks in the Brasileirão.
